My Mission and Vision

My mission is to raise awareness around something that is taboo both in the Christian Community and in the world in general: mental health. It is possible to believe in the amazing saving power of Jesus Christ, while also struggling with mental illness.

A light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.
— John 1:5

Philosophy of Ministry

  1. Love God, Love Others, & Love the World

Working in ministry, the most important thing I want for people is to love God, love others, and love the world.

  2. See people undeniably changed by the unconditional love of Christ

God’s love is transformative. We let God’s love penetrate each molecular of our bodies and souls and let it change us. From our transformation, we spread God’s unconditional love for those we minister to. We aim to see them changed by God working through us.

  3. It’s okay not to be okay

Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a proponent of a type of ministry known as “place-sharing" as am I. This is where you meet somebody where they are at. You celebrate with their joys. This also means mourning in their sadness. This does not mean we try to fix them, but instead we empathize. We stand with them in their place.
